Events and Operations Coordinator

The Events and Operations Coordinator is responsible for the logistical planning, execution and communication of major Nelson Center events and coordinating building activities and administrative operations. It is important for the Events and Operations Coordinator to thrive in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment. This position will report to the Assistant Director for Programs and work with Nelson Center staff in coordinating major details for approximately six-to-eight large-scale, high-profile semester events that meet the high standards of the Nelson Center.

This role will manage our three floor facility, located at 1 Euclid Avenue, and provide coordination with our venture support programs, overall communication efforts, smaller scale and ad-hoc events, student club advising, and other special projects. This role will work closely with Nelson Center leadership to ensure events and building operations further the center’s mission and diversity and inclusion plan.We are committed to building a teaching team diverse in people, ideas, and experiences and so encourage individuals who bring diverse perspectives to apply.
