Join Brown EP and the Nelson Center for a Roundtable Discussion with Charlie Kroll ’01, Co-Founder and President/COO of Ellevest. Come discuss Charlie’s entrepreneurial career, his experiences helping build one of CNBC’s top 50 “Disruptor” companies (Ellevest), and the fintech industry.
In order to ensure a personalized experience for all the participants, the roundtable is limited to 12 students. Those interested in participating should complete this form by Monday, February 3 at 7:00 pm. Selected participants will be notified by Tuesday, February 4. Charlie Kroll is the Co-Founder and President/COO of Ellevest, a digital-first, mission-driven investment platform for women. Ellevest is one of the fastest growing digital investment platforms and has been named #24 on CNBC’s top 50 “Disruptor” list, #14 on LinkedIn’s 50 “Hottest Startups To Work For” (and #2 in New York), and one of Entrepreneur Magazine’s Top 100 Brilliant Ideas.
Before launching Ellevest, Kroll was founder and CEO of Andera, a venture-backed provider of customer acquisition solutions in the financial services industry, acquired by Bottomline Technologies (NASDAQ: EPAY) in April 2014. He led all aspects of company growth from dorm room startup to profitable industry leader with over 100 employees, 3 offices, and 600 financial institution customers.
Kroll is passionate about entrepreneurship and actively involved in the startup community, as a founding board member of Venture for America, former chair of the Brown University Entrepreneurship Program, Techstars mentor, and advisor to a number of startups. He was named New England Young Entrepreneur of the Year by the United States Small Business Administration (SBA), and is a past Ernst & Young Entrepreneur of the Year finalist. Kroll has a BA from Brown University ’01 and currently serves on the Brown University President’s Leadership Council.
