1 Euclid Avenue: Our Home at the Heart of Campus
You may have heard that the Nelson Center for Entrepreneurship now has a dedicated home on the corner of Thayer Street and Euclid Avenue, right on the main commercial artery of College Hill.
This will encourage the kind of accidental collisions between experts and disciplines that are central to entrepreneurship and to the missions of both the center and Brown.
We’re incredibly grateful to everyone who made this space possible—especially Jonathan M. Nelson ’77, whose $25 million gift helped launch the center. Special thanks also go to our architects, 3SIXØ, and to the many generous supporters who believed in our vision.
2nd Floor
The second floor at the Nelson Center serves as prime programming and gathering space. When you enter you will find a kitchenette, a conference room, three niche spaces, an office, and the Liz Lange Lecture Hall.

Focus Spaces: Booths and More
Looking for a quiet spot to work or take a quick call? The Nelson Center offers nine niche spaces—perfect for individual work, phone calls, or short meetings. These booths are available on a first-come, first-served basis and are intended for use in 30-minute to one-hour increments. Please be respectful of others by adhering to the time limit.
You’ll also find open workspace on the 2nd and 4th floors, accessible to all without reservation.
Need privacy? We’ve got a booth for that
Quiet space, bold thinking

Overlooking Thayer Street and southerly views of campus, The Davis Family Venture Lab – generously supported by Chuck Davis ’82 and Jan Davis ’83 – provides beautiful workspace on the top floor of the Nelson Center where teams can come to work and collaborate. Space is available on a first come, first serve basis.
This conference room is equipped with a projector, screen, and conference call capabilities. You may also write on the glass with dry erase markers.
