The certificate program in entrepreneurship provides a curricular structure for undergraduate students who wish to make entrepreneurship an important part of their academic path at Brown. Offered in conjunction with the School of Engineering, it builds upon Brown’s interdisciplinary approach to liberal arts education and commitment to the exploratory spirit of the open curriculum.
Students pursuing the entrepreneurship certificate take five courses comprising two foundational courses, two elective courses, and an experiential course in which they develop and advance an entrepreneurial project of their own design. Students declare a Certificate in ASK during their fifth and sixth semesters.
