Pointz, often described as “Waze for bikes,” is a mobile app designed to help bicyclists find the safest route to their destination. It combines detailed road data with crowdsourced insights from fellow cyclists, guiding riders along the most bike-friendly paths—whether commuting, exploring a new city, or heading out for a weekend ride.

Building on its mission to make cycling safer and more accessible, Pointz recently launched Pointz Premium, which offers roadside assistance for cyclists. This new feature provides riders with peace of mind, knowing that help is just a tap away if they experience a flat tire, mechanical issue, or other unexpected challenges while on the road.

Pointz’s innovative approach and strong social impact recently earned the venture the $40K grand prize at Texas Christian University’s (TCU) Values and Ventures Competition, where 42 out of 235 teams from around the world were invited to pitch their ideas on campus.

Pointz is available for download on the App Store and Google Play, helping cyclists everywhere ride smarter, safer, and more confidently. The Pointz app is available on the App Store and Google Play
