What is B-Lab?
B-Lab is the Nelson Center for Entrepreneurship's flagship summer accelerator for Brown University and RISD student founders. Through intensive mentorship, workshops, funding opportunities, and a network of entrepreneurs, investors, and industry experts, B-Lab helps students transform their innovative ideas into impactful ventures. Each summer, founders spend eight weeks strengthening their businesses, testing their ideas, and preparing to launch companies that address real-world challenges across industries.
B-Lab seeks student founders with:
- A clear concept for a high-impact venture and a deep understanding of the problem they're solving
- A proposed solution that directly addresses that problem
- A plan for measurable objectives to achieve during the program
- An eagerness to contribute to our vibrant entrepreneurial community
