Hackathons are a unique opportunity for those interested in software, hardware, and design to collaborate in a sprint-like event, creating their own work and projects from scratch. Hackers will compete in teams to develop technical products that solve real world problems, target prize tracks, or are just for fun! At the end of the hackathon, teams will have the chance to pitch their projects to judges, who will provide feedback and award prizes based on certain criteria.
While hackathons are competitive in nature, we want Hack@Brown to be centered around learning as much as possible. We’ll be hosting a keynote speaker, numerous workshops, and panels during the hackathon for everyone to have the opportunity to learn beyond just building projects with their team members. Come join us to celebrate Hack@Brown’s 10th year!
