WE@Brown Incubator Info Session

September 12, 2017 @ 7:00 pm - 8:00 pm

The Jonathan M. Nelson Center and the Women’s Empowerment branch of EP (WE@Brown) is pleased to announce its first-ever incubator, debuting this fall 2017 semester. Created for women founders, the incubator takes entrepreneurial students deeper into the problem they are solving or hope to solve with their seed of an idea or full-fledged venture.

Providing workshops on creating business plans, articulating value proposition, calculating company valuation, and navigating the legalities of beginning a company, the incubator’s central motivation is the demystification of the entrepreneurial process and venture capital world for women.

All undergraduate students, graduate students, postdocs, and recent alum from any discipline are encouraged to apply. The application is now open. The deadline to apply is Sunday, September 17 @ midnight, for the opportunity to work with mentors, workshop leaders, and fellow students, bringing your idea to life! Apply here: https://brownep.typeform.com/to/ErXr1z.

We are holding an info session on Tuesday, September 12, 7:00 – 8:00 PM, in the Parth Formal Lounge, at the Brown Center for Students of Color (68 Brown Street). Haley Hoffman Smith, President of WE@Brown and Liz Malone, Program Manager for the Nelson Center for Entrepreneurship will lead the discussion, talk about the pilot and answer questions. Our goal is to work alongside the incoming cohort to provide a tailored experience that fits the needs of the group. Follow the “ticket” link to RSVP.
