Lana Nguyen ’25

Biology & Entrepreneurship

Lana Nguyen is a Biology (Physiology and Biotechnology) concentrator and is completing the Entrepreneurship Certificate. Originally from San Francisco, she has experience starting—and importantly, learning from—multiple startups in the health data, medical technology, proptech, and AI edtech sectors. She also has founded and scaled two education nonprofits nationally.

Lana is passionate about utilizing entrepreneurship to address critical needs such as poverty alleviation, shelter, healthcare, and food security in underserved areas. As a Peer Entrepreneur in Residence, she offers expertise in leveraging Brown’s resources to go from ideation to funding, finding startup career opportunities, and channeling inner persistence as a FGLI female founder.
