Marianna has a long-standing passion for mentorship and entrepreneurship. She started her startup career in middle school, selling pre-clipped newspaper coupons for things like cereal and candy. While that business didn’t take off beyond middle school, she has since worked for several VC-backed startups, venture funds and has advised numerous early-stage founders.
She is currently starting a company in the women’s health and fertility space. Most recently, she was VP of Business Development at Unacast, a venture-backed human mobility data company. Previously, she was a product manager at Eyeview, a venture-backed video platform. Before that, she was Director of Business Development at HookLogic, a Bain Capital Ventures portfolio company acquired by Criteo in 2016 for $250MM. She has also worked at Bain Capital Ventures, Bain & Company, Bowery Ventures / AOL Ventures and Citi Private Bank.
She is currently a board member at Build.org, a non-profit that teaches entrepreneurship to underfunded high-schoolers and was previously on the board of InSITE Fellows, a nonprofit startup consultancy. She has her BA and MBA from Columbia University.
