The Slater Technology Fund and the Nelson Center for Entrepreneurship are co-hosting a panel of angel investors. The investors will offer practical and valuable insights for entrepreneurs seeking angel funding. The session is designed to de-mystify how to raise money from angel investors and explore a few of the idiosyncrasies of that particular capital source.
Moderated Thorne Sparkman of the Slater Technology Fund, a panel including Deb Kemper of Golden Seeds and the Clean Energy Venture Group, David Hemenway of the New York Angels, and Bob Place of Genesis Power will discuss their experiences as active angel investors, and give practical advice about how to approach organized networks of individual investors, and how the networks differ from other sources from risk capital and even from each other.
