About Kaizar Campwala '02
Kaizar Campwala (Brown ’02) is the co-founder of Slow Talk, a relational management platform tackling the $42B nursing attrition crisis. Slow Talk helps nurse leaders manage their vast number of direct reports with less hassle and more humanity. Previously, he was Vice President, Business Operations at the Walt Disney Company, overseeing streaming news, including ABC News Live and Hulu’s news vertical. Earlier in his career, Kaizar shaped revenue models in the emerging podcast market as head of business development at Stitcher (acquired by SiriusXM) and launched the first Arabic and English language podcasts for Al Jazeera as Entrepreneur-in-Residence. Kaizar has led multiple non-profit initiatives. He co-founded CalMatters, now California’s largest policy and politics reporting team, and serves on the board of Internews, an NGO supporting at-risk journalists worldwide. Originally from Delaware, Kaizar now lives in New York City with his family.
About Abu Jaye, M.Sc '24
Abubakarr Jaye is an AI applied scientist and entrepreneur focused on large language model (LLM) reasoning and multimodal agents. At Microsoft’s New England Research & Development (NERD AI) center, he builds AI agent systems through Microsoft’s AI Development Acceleration Program (MAIDAP). Previously, Abubakarr co-founded Lumnis AI, partnering with a hedge fund to streamline investment research. His experience includes developing multimodal AI strategies at Amazon Robotics—with projected savings of $360M—and predictive trading models at JPMorgan Chase. A recipient of the Amazon Robotics Day One Fellowship, he holds an M.Sc. in Computer Science from Brown University and a B.Sc. from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. Raised in Banjul, The Gambia, Abubakarr leverages technology, innovation, and entrepreneurship to empower communities and drive meaningful global impact.

 
About Dan Erstad '04
Dan Erstad is COO at Monument, a venture-backed health tech company where he drives clinical operations, partnerships, customer success and revenue strategy. With a career spanning industries and disciplines, Dan thrives at the intersection of strategy, technology and storytelling. Prior to joining Monument, Dan was a marketing and communications executive at WPP,  shaping high-impact narratives for Pfizer, IBM, Nestle and other global clients. He started his career in entertainment as a creative executive, working on films including I Love You Man and Body of Lies. A Philadelphia native, Dan now resides in the New York City area. He holds an A.B. in History from Brown University (’04) and an MBA from UCLA Anderson (’12).
