Samanee Mahbub ’19: Office Hours

Samanee recently graduated from Brown with a History major but has always had a hand in entrepreneurship. She’s been a student director of EP as well as a PEIR at the Nelson Center. While at Brown, she worked at 5 start-ups including Slack, and she’s done roles across product management, operations and marketing. She works full-time in brand marketing at Rothy’s, a women’s shoe company made out of recycled water bottle plastic that was recently profiled by Forbes as one of the next billion-dollar start-ups. She’s happy to talk about how to get a job or internship at a start-up, what types of roles exist, or life in general.
